• Account information: Your email address and password when you create an account
• Profile information: Your name, bio, location, birth year, and photo if you choose to provide them
• Content: Glyphs, stories, memories, and photos you post on the Platform
• Usage data: How you interact with the Platform, including pages visited and features used
• Communications: Emails you send to our support team

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and operate the Timeglyph Platform
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password resets
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the Platform based on usage patterns
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the safety of our users

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your information to any third party.

4. Third Party Services

Timeglyph uses the following third-party services to operate the Platform:

• Supabase: Database and file storage. Your profile data, Glyphs, and photos are stored securely on Supabase servers.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery for account confirmation, password resets, and invitations.
• Vercel: Platform hosting and deployment.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies and security practices. We share only the minimum data necessary for them to perform their functions.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Memorial profiles are retained indefinitely as they serve as permanent tributes — we will never delete a memorial profile due to non-payment. If you request deletion of your account, your personal profile and associated Glyphs will be removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Export your Glyphs and profile content
• Opt out of non-transactional communications

7. Cookies

Timeglyph uses only essential cookies and local storage required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we collect only what is necessary to operate the Platform.

8. Children's Privacy

Timeglyph is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@timeglyph.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of Timeglyph after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
