Memorial Policy

1. Who Can Create a Memorial

Any registered Timeglyph user may create a memorial profile for someone who has passed away. This includes family members, friends, colleagues, or anyone with a meaningful connection to the deceased. You do not need to be a next of kin.

By creating a memorial, you confirm that to the best of your knowledge the individual has passed away and that your intent is to honor their memory in good faith.

2. Our Commitment to Permanence

We make the following permanent commitments regarding memorial profiles:

• We will never delete a memorial for non-payment. If a free tier limit is reached, memorials will remain visible and accessible regardless of the creator's subscription status.
• We will never place advertisements on memorial profiles. The space to honor someone's life will always remain ad-free.
• We will never sell the data of memorial profiles or use them for any commercial purpose beyond operating the Platform.

3. Content Standards

Memorial content must be created with respect and good faith. The following is not permitted on memorial profiles:

• False or defamatory information about the deceased
• Content intended to harass or harm the deceased's family
• Impersonation of the deceased or their family members
• Commercial promotion or advertising of any kind
• Content that violates any applicable law

4. Reporting and Takedown

If you believe a memorial profile contains false, harmful, or inappropriate content — or has been created for a living person — you may report it using the Report button on the profile page. We review all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include:

• Contacting the profile creator to address the concern
• Temporarily disabling the profile pending review
• Permanently removing the profile if it violates our policies

To submit a takedown request directly, email us at support@timeglyph.com with the subject line "Memorial Takedown Request" and include the profile URL and reason for your request.

5. Family Disputes

We understand that family situations can be complex. If there is a dispute between family members about the content or existence of a memorial profile, please contact us at support@timeglyph.com and we will work with all parties to reach a respectful resolution. We handle all such requests with sensitivity and care.

6. Transfer of Stewardship

If the creator of a memorial profile is no longer able to manage it, stewardship may be transferred to another family member or trusted individual. To request a transfer, contact us at support@timeglyph.com with verification of your relationship to the deceased.
